Screenprinted Postcards.

This class will cover the essentials of silkscreen: the properties of a good film positive, how to prepare and expose a silkscreen, and how to print. No previous silkscreen experience required! For the final class, bring a shirt and/or totebag to finally print the t-shirt you’ve been dreaming about.

Course fee includes the purchase of a silkscreen for you to keep (and take home), so come with projects in mind. Email instructor with 2 image and film will be ready on the day of the class. Image size max 8 x 10” Send 2 images to be printed. Images can relate to each other for two-color print or be separate images.

What we provide:
Silkscreen (for you to then take home! 20 x 24”)
Ink
Proofing paper
1-2 film positives
3 hours of Studio Time after the duration of the class*

What you bring:
Extra paper to be discussed after first session.
Clothes appropriate for a print studio and wet ink (and an apron)
Film positives ready
