Shoemaking with Jean Berberis

DIY Shoemaking with Jean Barberis.

3 Weekends, June 16th – July 1st, 1:00PM-5:00PM

Learn how to design and make a pair of simple stylish shoes.

During this three weekends long workshop, you’ll learn the basics of shoemaking.

This hands-on course will take you through the basic steps  involved in making a pair of shoes by hand:

Design, cutting, assembly, lasting and soling.

Please note: THERE WILL BE HOMEWORK.

As soon as you sign up, please let us know your shoe size and please indicate M /  F.

Tools and materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. If you have an old leather couch that you think would look better as loafers, you should bring it.  Also, if you some shoes you specially like and want to use for inspiration, you should bring them as well. You will walk away with your own handmade pair of shoes.
